When I wrote recently about the demise of HMV, a company that means a lot in our house, I mentioned that it reminded us that change is automatic but progress is not.
That reminds me, again, then, that we should teach children to get comfortable with change.
Governments change, bosses switch companies, friends may move away, relationships evolve and jobs become redundant because of new technology.
