There are plenty of places online to help teach young people about money, whether it’s using MoneySavingExpert.com to save a few quid on their car insurance when they’re older, or going to citizensadvice.org to understand the meaning of PAYE, the government’s website to learn more about the benefits and drawbacks of running a limited company, or Stepchange.org to help get out and stay out of debt.

Come to think of it, I could’ve done with most of that in my thirties, nevermind younger.

Having to miss out on fun times with your friends because you’re broke isn’t great (I had to miss out on Watford beating Arsenal in the Cup not that long ago and decided to use that pain to spur me on).

Knowing the internet well means you’re far better placed to improve your financial situation.
