It sometimes feels like there’s a ongoing argument in our house that involves Shoelace and/or me banging on to the girls that they really ought to put their phones down at least once a fortnight and look up.
It doesn’t have to be their iPhones (and anyone who knows me will tell you that I’m no fan of Apple) – it could be an iPad or Netflix.
Point is, it’s not often a maths book or garden fork I’m asking them to put down.
I’m all for a bit of tech but a productive streak will help in the long run.
