When I first heard about Twitter, in 2007, I set up an account – @Pazza – which I still have.
Over the years, I’ve set up quite a few Twitter accounts, and gradually ignored and deleted most of them.
Now I have a dilemma: on the one hand, I’m proud of having that Pazza account but I rarely use it, and when I do, I use it for football or Watford-related – rather than work – tweets.
On the other hand, the account I mainly use these days is the more greyly named @Paul__Parry (greyly – is that a word? It is now). I started to use that one because it felt more ‘professional’.
But is it more human?
I’ll probably stick with things as they are for the moment, but as soon as Twitter allows people to merge accounts – if they ever do – I’m on it.
