I really like this site as it’s a great way to avoid paying more than you need to for phone calls to customer service departments (and sometimes you can find a number that gets you through to someone who can help more quickly).
I also don’t mind that its design hasn’t changed to a responsive version – ie, one that works well on your phone as well as bigger screens.
The reason they haven’t updated the design, I reckon, is this:
The publishers of the site get money every time someone clicks on an ad so they’ve left the design untouched because it would reduce the number of clicks and the amount of money the site generates.
Is that cynical?
Maybe.
But because I like the service the site offers and am aware (I think) of the reason for the dated design, it doesn’t bother me.
