AI is amazing and already used in so many ways.
But in many cases, it’s not quite up to the job.
Take, for example, the translation app that you can use with your phone’s camera to scan, ‘read’ and translate text in a foreign language to ‘read’:
I’m not exactly sure what meal this Tokyo vending machine is offering but there’s a good chance it’s not red-headed ball with one-and-a-half balls.
And then there’s Otter, a voice-recording and transcription app:
Again, possibly slightly off the mark. I’m not sure the speaker said “for your frog?” when I recorded him.
So AI is not quite there yet, but it soon will be.
