If you need to use video to promote your business online, consider a couple of alternatives to YouTube.

I’m not talking about a video platform with a bigger audience – of course there isn’t one. It’s the second-biggest search engine in the world after Google.

I’m talking about when you want to embed a video on your website and want something that might better suit your needs and look more professional.

One’s called Vimeo (which I’ve used and like) and the other is Wistia.

Either way, try to avoid this situation:

Set up your videos so that when they end, people aren’t easily distracted and start watching something irrelevant.
