Starting from the bottom, I dived in head-first with a mission to absorb everything I could about internet marketing:
- Webinars
- Podcasts
- Ebooks
- Software
You name it, I wanted it.
In those early days, if it was free and from someone I trusted, I was in.
A bit later, I began to find the cash for books and the odd paid-for training product too, so I could really understand things like SEO and how good websites are laid out, and get better at copywriting.
It was all just-in-case learning, rather than just-in-time learning (I was gathering knowledge just in case a client asked for help blogging for PR about their new app that automated link-building and QR code generation…probably).
Now, having amassed a wealth of dull and outdated knowledge, I’d like to share those bits that are actually valuable and useful.
