As names go, All-in-One WP Migration isn’t the catchiest.
But it’s a king among WordPress plugins. The best I’ve ever used for any purpose.
So this morning, as I was working on one job while poking around at two or three others at the same time, I ran into a problem: the theme on one of the sites I look after needed updating.
Long story short:
- I updated the theme
- The site stopped working properly
- The support from the theme company had expired and was expensive to renew, so I chose not to do it now (maybe later), but there was nothing I quickly found on Google to help me
- I tried to restore the previous version of the site but All-in-One WP Migration and its even less catchily named cousin, All-in-One WP Migration Unlimited Extension, didn’t work
- I contacted ServMask, the company that sells the plugins, and they were superb, as good as the software they sell
The moral of the story? It’s always the same:
Being nice + selling great products + providing brilliant and quick customer service = happy customers (surprise, surprise) who talk about you positively and might send business your way.
